WhatsApp ordering system for restaurants

Every one of your customers already has WhatsApp open. None of them will download your app.

A WhatsApp ordering system uses the channel they already live in: they message your restaurant's number, see the menu, place the order, and get told when it is ready. There is nothing to install and nothing to learn.

What actually happens when a customer messages you

The customer sends anything — hi, a dish name, a voice note. Waplo replies in their own language, offers the menu, and takes the order.

Short things happen in the chat itself: repeat my last order, one more roti, what is the bill, where is my food. Long things go to a link — a full menu with photos, quantities and a cart, which is a much better way to build a five-dish order than tapping through chat buttons.

That split is deliberate. WhatsApp is the thread; the menu page is the tray.

The order lands somewhere useful

An order that arrives as a chat message is not an ordering system — someone still has to read it, understand it and write it down.

In Waplo the order becomes a real order: it appears on the kitchen screen, it goes into the day's sales, it can be marked ready, and the customer is told automatically. Your staff never retype anything.

It works on your number, not ours

Your restaurant connects its own WhatsApp number. Customers see your name, your profile photo and your history with them.

If you are already using the WhatsApp Business app on a phone, you keep it. Your staff can carry on replying by hand, and the automated replies hold back when a human is already answering.

Languages, because India does not order in English

A customer writing in Hindi gets Hindi. Punjabi gets Punjabi. The reply follows the language of the message, not a setting somebody forgot to change.

Dish names are never translated, because a paneer tikka is a paneer tikka and a translated menu is how the wrong food gets cooked.

What it costs you in WhatsApp charges

Meta charges for messages your restaurant starts, not for replies inside a conversation the customer began. In practice, ordering conversations are started by the customer, so they cost nothing.

The bill, when there is one, is Meta's and goes to your own account. Waplo never adds a markup to it and never handles it.

Common questions

Do my customers need to install anything?

No. They use the WhatsApp they already have. There is no app, no signup and no password.

Can I keep using WhatsApp Business on my phone?

Yes. Your number keeps working on your phone, and your staff can keep answering by hand. Waplo holds its automatic replies back for a while after a person has answered, so a customer is never spoken to twice.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. Most restaurants connect the number they already give out. If you would rather keep them separate, a second number works too.

Does the AI place orders by itself?

It never confirms an order on its own. Anything it understood — from typing, a voice note or a photographed order slip — is shown back as a card with add and remove, and it only becomes an order when a person taps Confirm.
